Our Board of Directors

Kinetic Insurance Brokers Limited is wholly owned by Nigerians with a Board of Directors constituted by individuals with experience and exposure in various fields of endeavor.

Mr. Aigboje Olatanka Higo Jr, BBA, MBA

Chairman

With experience and exposure in various fields of endeavor, Mr. Aigboje Higo has been the Group Managing Director of Capital Bancorp Plc. (one of the foremost financial and professional services providers in Nigeria) from 2009 till date. He is a seasoned Investment Banker, Stockbroker and Pension Fund Manager with over 34 years of exposure, and expertise in the Financial Service industry.

Prior to working at Capital Bancorp Plc, Higo developed, progressed and advanced in his career. He was made the Managing Director/CEO of Pensions Alliance Limited; a subsidiary of FSDH from 2005 till 2009.

Due to his hard work and impeccable commitment to professionalism, he was made a Director in FDSH Asset Management Limited from 2003 to 2009. Higo also functioned as the Chief Operating Officer at FSDH Securities Limited from 1995 till 2005.

Earlier in his career, Higo worked as a Financial Analyst with Prudent Stockbrokers Ltd from 1987 to 1990 and rose to become the Manager for Corporate Finance at Prudent Merchant Bank Plc in 1990 and resigned in 1993. From 1993 till 1995, he worked as an Assistant General Manager at Capital Bancorp Plc.

In 1988, Higo became an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in 1993.

Aigboje Higo studied International Business at Howard University, Washington D.C, and obtained his B.B.A in 1984 and was also awarded his M.B.A at American University, Washington D.C, USA, in 1985.

Mr. Abubakar Bature Sulu-Gambari, LLB, BL; LLM

Director

Mr. Abubakar Bature Sulu-Gambari is the Principal Partner of A. B. Sulu-Gambari & Co. (Barristers & Solicitors). He was called to the Bar in 1991. He holds an LL.M. degree in Shipping and Maritime Law from the University College London (UCL) and specializes in all aspects of maritime litigation, charter party negotiations, ship financing and shipping arbitration.

He has worked with various prestigious law firms in Nigeria and abroad including Kehinde Sofola & Co, Femi Atoyebi & Co. and Stanbrook & Hooper (now McDermott Will Emery/Stanbrook LLP) in Brussels. He heads the team presently working on a core LNG project and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mr. Olugbenga Soleye, M.Sc Economics; FIMC

Director

Olugbenga Soleye is currently the MD/CEO of Elpis Transglobal Resources Limited, a Training and Outsourcing Consultancy Firm. He is also a member of Faculty at Learners & Trainers Consult, a leading training and consulting firm in the country. Gbenga also does private Business in the retail Oil and Gas industry.

Prior, Gbenga had worked with Chartered Bank Ltd, Access Bank Plc, FSB International Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc. Throughout his Banking career, he worked and led, at different times, in the Operations, Marketing, Relationship Management, Branch Coordination, Correspondent Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Retail Banking Groups. He worked extensively with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to source, and manages on-lending funds for some major companies in Nigeria. Also, Gbenga sourced for Off Shore funds & Guarantees for major key projects in Nigeria from the US Exim Bank and other major Development Financial Institutions (DFI) and Correspondent Banks. He left Banking as Unity Bank’s Head of Retail Banking in the South West Zone, with responsibility for all branches in Kwara, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun,Oyo and Ogun States.

Gbenga holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, an Associate of The Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.

Mr. Dolapo Ali, B.Sc. Insurance, MBA, ACIIN

Managing Director/CEO

Mr. Dolapo Ali is the Managing Director of Kinetic Insurance Brokers Limited. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos (1991) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Ilorin (2009).

He qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN) in 2011.

Mr. Ali had the primary assignment of his National Youth Service (NYSC) with the Maiduguri branch of Leadway Assurance Company Limited between October 1991 and August 1992. He thereafter gained professional experience in insurance broking, underwriting, branch administration, sales, marketing, business development and strategy working in various insurance broking and underwriting companies namely, Corporate Bond Insurance Brokers (now Davisther Insurance Brokers), Brightways Insurance Brokers, Equity Indemnity Insurance Company (now Sunu Assurance Plc.) and Wapic Insurance Plc. (now Coronation Insurance Plc) until June 2019 when He joined some other professionals and business men to set up Kinetic Insurance Brokers Limited.
